Available Sunday to Friday, it's a relaxed midweek escape with plenty going on, for anyone who'd rather spend their break laughing over a quiz or a jacuzzi than following a schedule.

The Experience
This one's less about resting up and more about getting out and enjoying yourself. Arrive to tea and scones, settle into a cosy room, then take your pick of the evening - a relaxed dinner in The Forge Bar, a walk into Ballybofey, or straight into the Wednesday-night quiz at Gallen's Bar, where the craic and the competition are both taken seriously.
Mornings are just as easy: a proper full Irish, then a five-minute stroll to Jackson's Hotel Leisure Centre, included free with your stay. Swim, sit in the jacuzzi, or join Aqua Aerobics on selected mornings - sociable, low-pressure, and a genuinely good way to start the day. And because Villa Rose, Jackson's and Gallen's Bar all sit within a few minutes of each other, there's usually live music or something happening close by come the weekend, without ever needing to get in a car.

How do I get to Villa Rose Hotel by public transport?
The hotel is a three-minute walk from the Main Street bus stop in Ballybofey, served by Bus Éireann's Route 64 (Galway–Derry) and Route 480 (Sligo–Donegal–Letterkenny–Derry), along with Local Link bus services connecting Ballybofey to Letterkenny and Derry.
Is there anything to do in the evenings?
Yes - Gallen's Bar hosts a trad music session every Tuesday, a pub quiz every Wednesday night, and there's regularly live music across Villa Rose, Jackson's Hotel and Gallen's Bar at weekends, all within a short walk of each other.
