Upcoming Dance Breaks at The Villa Rose Hotel, Donegal

Dance Breaks in Donegal

There's a particular kind of joy that fills the Cappry Ballroom on a dance break weekend - the shuffle of good shoes on a sprung floor, a live band finding its groove, old friends and new ones sharing a table. It's been a Villa Rose tradition for years, and as a family-run hotel, we take real pride in hosting it.

Our Over-50s Dance Breaks bring together social, ballroom, sequence and line dancing across 2, 3 and 4-night stays - each one built around comfortable accommodation, a full Irish breakfast, evening dinner, and dancing to live music every night. Expert tuition runs alongside the socials, so newcomers and seasoned dancers alike find their feet.

And because we're in Donegal, there's always more than the ballroom on offer - the Bluestack Mountains on your doorstep, sea air rolling in off the Atlantic, and a warmth to the welcome that only a family-run hotel can give.

Beyond the Dance Floor

A Villa Rose dance break is never just about the evening's programme. Between workshops, unwind in the V-Spa, make use of Jackson's Hotel Leisure Centre next door, or stretch your legs at your own pace through Drumboe Woods, just a short drive away. Evening dinner is built around the best of what Donegal has to offer, and mornings start properly with a full Irish breakfast before the day's tuition begins. It's a break with room to breathe as well as dance.
