Bridie’s is the cosy bar at the front of the Villa Rose Hotel, just off Main Street in Ballybofey. Every day from 12 noon, it serves soup and sandwiches, homemade scones and shortbread, and good tea and coffee. From 4pm every evening, it serves the same hand-stretched artisan pizzas The Forge Bar is known for, best enjoyed by the fire with a pint. Drinks are poured until 10pm.

It’s a fire-lit, comfortable room with a view of the main street. People come in to step out of the day for a while. That might be a break from the shops, a catch-up with a friend, a quiet drink before dinner in Fara’s, or a pizza and a pint while the match is on.

Drop-ins are always welcome.

Simple Lunch & Homemade Baking

Our scones are baked in-house and served with butter and jam, and our shortbread pairs perfectly with a pot of tea. Add a properly made coffee, and Bridie's is one of the nicest places in Ballybofey for an afternoon tea and scone or a mid-morning coffee break.

Our Famous Pizzas, From 4pm

Every evening from 4pm, Bridie’s serves the same hand-stretched artisan pizzas The Forge Bar is known for. They’re made fresh in our kitchen with quality toppings, and they’re a long way from your usual fast-food pizza.

Order one for yourself or a few for the table, get a drink in and settle in by the fire. It’s an easy way to spend an evening just off Main Street. If you’re heading home, pizzas can be boxed up to take away too.
